Harry Reid & the Senate democrats made an agreement with the banks to uncap credit card interest rates in exchange for the banks supporting their banking overhaul legislation in 2005. As usual, democrats create a problem, which they later blame the GOP for, and then demand they help them fix the problem they created, with caveats attached that always benefit them! Republicans fall for it every time so they’re either stupid or in on the scam.
