For everyone in politics the only thing that matters is hanging on to power.
It’s interesting that our liberal friends are all fainting this week because of the death of Renee Nicole Good on January 7 at the hands of an ICE agent during a “peaceful protest” where she was using her SUV to block ICE operations. Almost exactly five years ago on January 6 our liberal friends had no problem with a Capitol police officer shooting Ashli Babbit as she climbed unarmed through a broken window into the Capitol in an “armed insurrection” against the United States government.
What is going on with our liberal friends training divorced mothers of three to engage in protest against ICE agents searching for illegal aliens as prescribed by law?
Let’s analyze the January 6 and January 7 narratives from the liberal point of view.
For our liberal friends the violent Capitol riots on January 6 were an existential threat to the System. OMG! What if the Senate had thrown out the official results of the 2020 election and considered alternate slates of Electors! It would have been the end of the world as we know it.
Er, no, dear liberal friends. But we might have got a look into the national problem of mail-in voting and ballot harvesting.
For our liberal friends the peaceful protest against ICE in Minneapolis on January 7 was a noble effort by devoted activists to prevent the deportation, by an authoritarian regime and its ICE thugs, of innocent migrants just trying to make a living.
Er, no, dear liberal friends. Peaceful protests have nothing to do with the case.
The situation in Minnesota is that the electorate is probably slightly Republican. So how do our liberal friends manage to keep Minnesota blue? Perfectly simple. Minnesota goes Democrat

Minnesota has voted every time for a democrat in Presidential elections since the 1970s and the only state who has done so, this is not complicated.
Pretty close to cynical enough but not quite. The reason leftists is that they know they have no alternative. They MUST stay in power because they know they are useless. They won’t earn the lifestyle to which they are accustomed doing a real job. Hence, theft works for them.

Great article!
Exactly how Democrats win elections in California - including in red areas like Orange County.
If (God Forbid) Gavin Newsom wins POTUS in 2028, he'll federalize this voting tactic.
Just got an "election preview packet" in the mail (California) - for my husband who has been deceased for six years. No doubt he'll get a ballot this year as well. He also just got "toll violations" - three of them - from the DMV - for his car - which I turned in five years ago.
As a Communist said....”It doesn’t matter WHO votes....it only matters WHO COUNTS THE VOTES”!
There just aren't enough people outside of these areas to generate enough voting pressure to overcome that. You may be able to see a different story in MI, not true for MN - the dynamics are different. We came probably as close as ever last presidential election:
2024 General Election Results
| Candidate | Total Votes |
| Donald J. Trump and JD Vance | 1,519,032 |
| Kamala D. Harris and Tim Walz | 1,656,979 |
Still, we were 137,947 votes shy of having the popular vote. 90K or so of that can likely be attributed to the somali population, a good chunk of the rest from other leech party candidates on the ballot. The electors take what they see and do what they will, but generally they are looking at vote totals and are supposed to be voting/pledging based on that.
But like I said before, we can throw the baby out with the bathwater and ignore nearly half of the disenfranchised voting population to appease a reductively reasoned approach to kicking a state out of the union or somesuch because, well, hey! They always vote democrat for pres.
Enough that the Minnesota Vikings should be renamed the Imported Light Bulb Heads. Fran Tarkenton is pissed off and Norm Sneed is turning over in his grave
