Water cannons are not going to be used, because of their “bad optics”. The old images from Birmingham & other civil rights protests will be put up so fast your head will spin.
I think maybe nowadays in this situation fed up people would appreciate those kind of optics. Especially if they emphasize the non-lethal aspect and not use quite full pressure. More of a drenching effect.
