A wombat, spotted quoll and ringtail possum have also been caught up in the chaos.
A family of cheeky Tasmanian devils have been caught on camera ransacking a suburban property yard in the state’s Central Highlands.
CCTV video shows the mischievous marsupials dashing out a hole in the early hours of the morning, pinching dog toys and several other household items.
Property owner Jayne Warner told 7NEWS several items have gone missing,
“There’s at least seven or eight items under the house at the moment and previous to that we didn’t know what the hell was going on, so it could be more,” she said.
She believes the heist has gone on for about four months, with the band of devils striking in the early hours of the morning most days.
“All you can hear is roaring and whatever the devil noise is, we get it at 3 o’clock every single morning,” Warner said.
A wombat, spotted quoll and ringtail possum have also been caught up in the chaos — captured on camera and believed to be cosying up to the devilish family under the house.
Warner says they’re loud, but amusing company has been a pleasant surprise and they’re welcome to stay
“I’m quite happy for them to stay, as long as they don’t start taking big things under the house or nosier things,” she said.
Thank you for not letting me down!
Walz and Frey will be wanting to import thousands of them into Minnesota.
I had to step outside to see the rest of that picture.
Good to gets some fresh air.
Sure, what could go wrong?
lol...
The first time I saw a video of a Tasmanian Devil I had to laugh. I knew immediately what it was from watching the lovable Devil on Bugs Bunny.
I’m also happy for them to stay.....in Tasmania (an island off the southern coast of Australia) which is where they belong.
I’m convinced that my Blue heeler is part Taz.
I guess the question, “Is it them, Yogi?” is not applicable. But looking at the picture...
Same with my cat.
