I did an instrumental composition in the vein of Santana. Some interesting changes but still with a Latin vide. If you like the piece, please like and subscribe.
Good job tho. I appreciate what it takes to do all that!
Thanks. And thanks for pointing out the one clip that wasn’t 9:16. I like the wide aspect of 9:16 and there was the one GIF that looked like the ceiling and floor were creeping in on the dancing Goth woman. That may not have been 9:16. But sometimes it’s hard to tell what ratios you have.
The break breaks it into an early rock feel. It’s a bit jarring, but the visual images carry it, and the piece probably needs a bit of a change at that point. It goes back to the Latin, and the last set of images are all South American/Latin.
Yeah, it was work and I had to craft out the guitar parts rather than just wing it. I’m more use to winging it. I thought the melody riff was good, I and had to keep that kind of consistancy. As well, it’s played over a ii/V/I in minor, and that is not my natural homebase. So it was work, but I’m happy with the results.
Do you do the same home recording stuff?
Yeah, it was good guitar work; just not my kind of music I guess. Watched Waylon’s version of “Susan’s Floor” right after that & got much more out of it.
I’m glad you found the music you like. We’re all different.
heheheh, No I don't, my bro does tho. He has a lot of songs he's done over the years, so I know what it takes to get things right in the studio!
Keep it up, and take care!
