A man is dead after allegedly pointing a rifle at an off-duty ICE officer in Northridge, California, Wednesday around 10:45 p.m.
ABC 7 reported the off-duty officer was inside his apartment and heard what he thought to be gunshots outside. The officer grabbed his gun and went outside to investigate and came upon a suspect who was allegedly holding a long gun.
The officer identified himself as law enforcement, at which point the suspect allegedly pointed the rifle at him.
An exchange of gunfire occurred, after which the officer went back inside to retrieve body armor and call backup. LAPD officers arrived on scene to find the suspect deceased.

*LOVE* a story with a happy ending!
Fantastic job!
Taking out the trash...
Good shootin’ Tex!!!
There are certain times when you let your gun do the talking. Some questions will remain unanswered: did the gunman know an Ice Agent lived there? Who told him about that? Was he attempting a Hit for a payout? Who is the gunman’s weapon registered to? Etc, etc.
And, ICE officer indicted for “murder” in 3, 2, . . .
It was New Year’s Eve.
Hopefully there’s vid
There will still be a st!tsh0w, bec he’s ICE, but vid would be so much nicer.

Yes.
Happiness Is A Warm Gun
-—John Lennon, on the White Album.
Note:
The phrase was inspired by an advertisement in the May 1968 issue of The American Rifleman, the magazine of the U.S. National Rifle Association (NRA). The magazine belonged to The Beatles’ producer, George Martin, who had it in the studio at Abbey Road.
John Lennon found the phrase “a fantastic, insane thing to say”. He interpreted a “warm gun” as one that had just been fired, seeing the slogan as a darkly ironic commentary on American gun culture.

I watched my local news...
I do not think that the gunman was targeting the federal agent...He started shooting at nobody in particular...Then the off-duty agent came out of his apartment to find out what is going on...
Maybe the gunman had some mental problems...
Northridge is a part of City of Los Angeles...San Fernando Valley...There is a California State University in that area...No, it is not a sketchy neighborhood...
All those demonstrators and Adam Schiff, Newsom, Padilla, . Eric Swalwell, Mayor Karen Bass, JB Pritzker, Tim Walz, Mayor Brandon Johnson and many TV pundits have said ICE agents should not be allowed to wear masks.
Defenders said some agents have been followed home where their spouses and children were there. Others were identified and doxxed using facial recognition used by woke tech nerds to help Antifa and the anti-ICE zealots to target the agents and once to stay up all night banging pots and pans and yelling through megaphones to keep the agents awake all night.
The death threats are the result of Democrats who have not been brought to justice as of today.
“I watched my local news”
And I am sure you got the unbiased truth of the matter s/
Spreading cheer.
Well...don’t do that then.
That might explain it. Since I was but a wee Lad back in Michigan, I have always heard news shows warning people not to shoot up in the air because it was New Years Eve. At the family home, we were ordered to stay away from windows at that hour, maybe even till sunrise on Jan. 1st.
Yet, there have always a few who used New Years Eve as a good excuse to go outside and make some noise. January is too late in the season to hunt Deer and too early in the season to fish for Smelt or Whitefish, so you have a lot of Sportsmen feeling a little bored.
It’s for the city folks who keep their firearm in a shoebox under their bed, and New Year’s Eve is the only chance they ever get to shoot it.
Yep. More than likely. That tattered old shoe box being the
“Gun Safe” for the last 25 years.
The Democrats and the rest of the wokies have studiously ignored mental illness as though it did not exist. It’s part of their delusion but also of their voter recruitment strategy.
