I’m in grocery stores a couple times a week as we prefer fresh food. Most shoppers seem to just grab what they like and don’t bother to look at prices. Many are in a hurry to get out of the store; others don’t care about prices I guess.

We can afford to not care about prices, but the way I was raised, Mom and Dad had no choice but to care a LOT.

For decades as an adult, we lived a beyond-thrifty lifestyle. Now I can’t get that mindset out of my system, and can’t imagine spending willy-nilly for a good price.

So I care about prices and pay closed attention.
