A Yankees hat can be rather polarizing. Yes they are most well known MLB team but I’m not sure they’re the most beloved team in Minnesota. They’re not called the evil empire for nothing. I mean a Twins cap would have been much more understandable to the locals at least. Obviously we aren’t dealing with the most sophisticated scammers here.
