Agents with the Department of Homeland Security are on the ground going door-to-door at suspected Somali fraud sites in Minneapolis following journalist Nick Shirley’s viral video revealing rampant fraud in the Somali community.
As previously reported, an angry Somali woman ‘working’ at a daycare – with no children inside – slammed the door as journalist Nick Shirley asked some simple questions about the so-called children’s center.
Minnesota Childcare Center claims it takes care of 102 children, however, the facility is empty.
“We’re just wondering where the children are,” David, a man who has been investigating the Somali fraud for years, asked. “It says you have 102 children here, and you got $2.66 million this year in funding. And $2.5 million last year. We’re just wondering where the kids are.”
“And who are you?” the Somali asked.
“My name is Nick Shirley,” Shirley said.
“And which department?” the Somali asked.
“We’d like to ask where the money is going,” Nick Shirley said as the Somali slammed the door on him.
Journalist Nick Shirley Exposes Somali Daycare Fraud
This is just the tip of the iceberg.
Somali healthcare scammers may have stolen more than $9 billion in taxpayer money in Minnesota.
Federal agents descended on Somali businesses in Minneapolis on Monday.
“Homeland Security Investigations @ICEGov are on the ground in Minneapolis right now conducting a massive investigation on childcare and other rampant fraud,” DHS Chief Kristi Noem said.
“More coming,” Noem added.
“DHS is on the ground in Minneapolis, going DOOR TO DOOR at suspected fraud sites,” Homeland Security said.
“The American people deserve answers on how their taxpayer money is being used and ARRESTS when abuse is found. Under the leadership of @Sec_Noem, DHS is working to deliver results.

SLAM that barn door shut after the horses escape! Great work F-troop!
Freaking idiots aren’t even smart enough to be embarrassed. Can’t wait for their press conference.
Somalis are the scum of the earth and have been for centuries. No morals, no conscience, no decency, no guilt. Send these bastards back to the hell hole they came from where theft is considered an honor. Take Timmy Tampon with them.
I didn’t know that Somalia is a member of the U.N. Not that it matters all that much, the U.N. has been a useless and anti-American organization for years, we need to get out of it, and stop the funding.
I didn’t know that Somalia was even a country. Who is their leader? Do they even have a government?

The ongoing daycare fraud scandal in Minnesota dates back a decade as an unearthed 2015 video appeared to show parents pretending to drop their children off at an alleged phony daycare was accused of stealing $4 million in taxpayer’s money. The video was recorded in March 2015, then uncovered in 2018 and has now resurfaced.

Four people were arrested as part of the scheme, with Abdirizak Ahmed Gayre and Ibrahim Awgab Osman pleading guilty to felony theft by swindle pursuant to a plea agreement, Fox9 reported. As part of the agreement, the state reportedly dismissed other charges against them and agreed not to pursue further charges against other defendants. (Excerpt) Read more at dailymail.com/uk

Why is govt funding anything even remotely this rife with fraud and graft in the first place? No wonder we’re trillions in debt as a country. No one in govt gives a damn where our money goes even though that’s supposed to be their first responsibility.
Just damn!
That little rat weasel thief needs to be shown a prison cell.
Good questions.
Pronto.
Great post......thx.
For the rest of his days.
Bobby Ferguson and Tampon Timmy are two traitorous birds of a feather.
I’m not sure if there is a leader. Seems like whoever the leading terrorist is runs things. The country has a long history of piracy and theft and barbarism.
The U.N. is the political equivalent of a Somali Learing Center.
A facade for criminal activity, which does little to accomplish its stated goal.
Homeland Security should be raiding the UN, as well as the phony pirate’s lair.
In his Democrat campaign speeches and during the October 2024 vice presidential debate as Democrat Kamalas’s pick, Tim Walz encouraged support for the daycare industry and emphasized the need for affordable child care. He views addressing the child care crisis as essential for workforce enhancement and family stability.
Key Points from Democrat Walz’s Position
Federal Assistance: Democrat Walz advocated for federal programs to help with child care affordability and accessibility, including support for paid family leave, citing Minnesota’s program as a model.
Industry Support: He stressed that it should be easier for individuals to enter the child care business and that child care workers, who are often underpaid, should earn a decent salary. The state of Minnesota has invested in grants to boost provider wages.
Funding Mechanism: Walz argued against using tariffs to fund child care initiatives, stating they would raise consumer prices and burden families financially.
Bipartisan Agreement (on the problem): While he and then-vice presidential candidate JD Vance proposed different solutions, both agreed that the lack of affordable child care is a national crisis straining American families.
Recent Daycare Controversy
In late December 2025, Democrat Walz has faced criticism and calls for accountability amid controversy and fraud allegations related to Minnesota’s social service programs, including those involving daycare centers. A viral video by an independent journalist raised questions about a specific Minneapolis “learning center” that appeared inactive despite receiving millions in state funds.
Democrat Walz has pushed back against some of the allegations and defended his administration’s record, stating that those who commit fraud will be prosecuted regardless of their background. State officials maintain that investigations are ongoing and reforms are being implemented to improve oversight.
