Our city has city owned solar panels. Our county is heavily covered with solar panels. Michigan just approved law that local municipalities will not have control over solar panels. Yet, I can’t put a solar panel on my roof or in my yard. Scammers all. And the land will never be farmed again due to the infrastructure of the panel supports.

Why Sen. Dirksen is correct. Urban rule is a point of modern Democrats to shut out rural America. They hate farms, they want everything else.

I am in Phoenix, and as long as you don't sign up for one of those long term leasing deals where the benefits are up front (and mostly enjoted by the installer) you can do a little better than break even.
But Phoenix is a BEST CASE scenario. I see no advantage to Michigan unless it was a private install with true battery backup as a luxury for those who want backup power. Michigan has clouds, and long nights in winter.
