I loved nurses. But I despise their union.

I have never seen a group of people who felt more entitled and resistant to even talking about change. They are worse than teachers.

And it only got worse after COVID.

That is saying a lot. I spent 40 years in healthcare, and in my Leftist state, it is populated in a majority by Leftists.

It has always been a depressing puzzle for me, how these seemingly intelligent and educated people I encountered in the area of healthcare could be so predominately Leftist.

Over time, I have come to believe that the thing to remember about Leftists is:

• Leftists are Leftists before they are Parents.

• Leftists are Leftists before they are Husbands.

Any time Leftists are confronted with a conflict between being a nurse, a doctor, a soldier, or a parent, they universally choose the path of Leftism.

From a couple nurses I have talked to , and my sister-in-law; most nurses, for whatever reason, end up being the mean-girls from high school. They are the catty, back-stabbing, cruel types. It’s weird. I never expected that. I expected the motherly types, but they tell me otherwise.
