Actually, I moved away from all that to a place that does not have these big city issues and is less costly. But, one must be willing to not stop and look back at Sodom and Gomorrah, and few modern Americans have that in them it seems.
In my case the destination was rural NW Tennessee, however there are many places in many states. At first blush my little town of 2000 looks blighted, but when you look deeper you see a wonderful city park, super fast Internet provided by the power company, a modern pharmacy with excellent service, a great bank where you build personal relationships with the bank personnel, a top notch hardware store, medical establishments that you can actually trust with your life, and some of the finest, most traditional young people to be found anywhere.
But, you must be willing to separate yourself from the big city.
I love Tennessee. What a wonderful beautiful state with wonderful people.
