(1) Giuffre never filed a criminal complaint against Andrew for sex trafficking in New York City.
There is no statute of limitation for trafficking a minor in New York City.
(2) Giuffre withdrew her civil law suit against Andrew when Andrew insisted on going to trial.
(3) Giuffre settled out of court for an undisclosed amount of money.
Andrew admitted no guilt.
In addition, the money was paid into an organization created by Giuffre to assist young women who were trafficked.
None of the money went directly to Giuffre.
