LOL- Thankfully we had em for awhile- before that we had to walk to school- 3 miles- uphill- both ways, barefoot- then at night all huddle around a sewer grate to try to warm up ad hope to make it through the night so we could go to school the next day again-
At least you had a sewer gate. You were lucky! We lived for three months in a rolled-up newspaper in a septic tank.
