I see now none of the big motor homes are using their satellite dishes, just Starlink and streaming.
My RV had a stupid satellite dish and TV antenna and roof top AC. I tore all those off, patched the holes, and ran solar on top. It’s great. I’m looking at Starlink but so far, tethering on my cell phone has been just fine. I can easily stay 2 weeks before I need to head in to town to get water. That’s the only thing you can’t produce off grid.
