I’d offer to drop charges if he’d return the cat.
Full on consequences if he can’t return the cat.
As for consequences, if the cat was worth less than $950, a misdemeanor in CA.
If over that amount, grand theft, a felony.
That said, since the perp hasn’t been charged with anything after four days and the cat still hasn’t been returned, I think we all know where this is going.
