BS Chicom propaganda.
I transited through Chengdu in October 1976 right after Mao had died. It was like a step back 2,000 years at the time. Primitive, dirty, truly third-world. What an evolution!
If it’s coming from the government or one of its proxies it’s at least partially bull-đź’©.

Ummm...no.
The transformation is staggering.
The video is straight from a Chinese tech firm. They wouldn’t lie!

Would love to see them circle-jerk.
So it’s a lie?
Yep, just more CCP propaganda shills! The best they have are very poor copies of what Boston Dynamics had a decade ago. The truth is today’s China is a hot mess. No freedom, no free speech, no actual home ownership, and the poorest in America would be rich in China.
An exaggeration. It’s flashy and eye catching. But it doesn’t mention a lot about items like durability, battery life, how user friendly it is, applications, etc. Issues a comparable US company like Boston Dynamics is upfront and honest about. Boston Dynamics even releases video of its failures publicly. It’s up front about its iterative development process. You won’t see that from China because the rule is China can never, ever look bad.

It’s just pure propaganda huh?
So how’d they manage to build their own space station?
And put a rover on Mars.
And make more cars per year than Europe and America combined.
Etc etc.
You guys make me laugh.
You just don’t accept reality do you?
This got a lot of airplay on KRLA in the late summer of '64, but has been forgotten.
If anything there impressed us enough to want it because we didn’t already have it, we would just buy it and reverse engineer it or pay someone on the inside for the plans. Many might think corruption is bad here but the Chinese have thousands of years of that culture over us. Everything and everyone in China is for sale.
Amazing!
This will be fun when 1/2 a billion young Chinese men are out of work. And China has a plan for all those idle “useless” men.
And that plan isn’t very good for them.
Yep.
