I played a Yamaha tuba, a Yamaha saxophone. Utter crap.

In fact, my Doctoral dissertation was going to be about the poor quality of Yamaha instruments. Had a Metallugist lined up and everything.

I had a Yamaha acoustic guitar for a while. I didn’t like it very much so I moved up to Ovation. The Ovation I bought in the early 80’s is still my favorite acoustic guitar.
