I don’t know about that, but I find it amazing that apparently no one the study group had a phone out recording some or part of the shooting. And have we heard of any of their witness statements yet?

I love a good conspiracy theory as much as anyone, but, sorry, the official story sounds legit to me on this one. The reality of the disgruntled, underachieving Ph.D-type murderer is definitely a thing. Ted Uaczynski and Luigi Mangione of course come to mind, but old timers amongst may remember Theodore Streleski, a Stanford math grad student who murdered a faculty member. Psychosis is abnormally high among the brainiac class in math and the hard sciences, cf. John Nash from Princeton etc.
