Incredible video footage shows beachgoers gazing on after the sea was transformed into a deep shade of blood red following a torrential downpour on Iran’s Hormuz Island
Stunning footage shows the moment a sea is turned 'blood red' by a sudden downpour - sparking comparisons to a Biblical prophecy.
Rainfall on Iran’s Hormuz Island briefly transformed the coastline of its famous Red Beach into a striking scene this week, as soil flowed into the sea and turned the water into a deep crimson shade. Some internet commenters likened the spectacle to the 'End Time' prophecy in the Book of Revelation, the final book of the Bible, which tells of angels turning seas and rivers into blood as a form of divine judgment.

Lots of minerals in the area. Likely iron oxide. (Looked it up yesterday)
Floods and mineral rich mud.
It’s a sign from God telling Iranians to repent and denounce Islam.
"...the coastline of its famous Red Beach into a striking scene this week, as soil flowed into the sea and turned the water into a deep crimson shade..."
Yeah, it's a real puzzle.
The sea and waters turn into blood. It’s not going to be just one area.
Zactly. Gonna be global methinks. Could be local to the area, but i think the plagues are global because so many people get wiped out by them worldwide
and the Bible says,”like the blood of a dead man.” So, coagulated, no oxygen, stinky mess. The Bible says ” and everything in the oceans died.” Revelation 16:3 Quite a future
Isn’t it alway?
The world was a small place from the authors perspectives.
the author was the Holy Spirit. The person writing was human. Are you saying the Holy Spirit didnt have the same perspective of the world as God the Father?
It’s not too cool to be fooled by Mother Nature.
My guess is you didn't even bother to read the article.
The etymology guy is obviously onto something, because no one knows where *that* word came from either.
It's always something!
heck, rivers in north carolina turn this shade of blood read all the time after heavy rains: soils [clays actually] in that area are red to start with ...
