“Primary the RINOs that voted no. “

Here are the issues I see with primarying anyone. The actual party usually does not back the challenger, which removes a lot of money and capability raising the bar for the challenger. You have to find a candidate who stands out more than the incumbent, and he has to set up, run and finance his own campaign. For someone new to politics that is a huge challenge. Another issue is, quite frequently, the person so motivated and funded has some glaring issue, such as being married to his cousin or repeated arrests for example.

The system favors the status quo. I’m not saying it isn’t worth trying. I’m saying it isn’t easy. It would be better if someone with deep pockets helped requit train and fund candidates. But that brings its own, obvious problems.

Hearing you and don’t disagree. That being said, are there issues or votes such that it can’t be ignored and the politician is so far outside any reasonable semblance of representing their constituency that they need to be held to account?

IMO, this vote seems to be such a situation.
