Two people have reportedly been found dead in the mansion of filmmaker and actor Rob Reiner, which the LAPD is reportedly investigating as a murder.
Multiple law enforcement sources told NBCLA that the bodies of a 78-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman had allegedly been discovered inside the home, which is located in Los Angeles' Brentwood neighborhood, a haven for celebrities.
Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department Robbery Homicide division were said to be on the case, and LAPD detectives reportedly told ABC7 said the deaths were being investigated as a homicide as a large number of officers were at the home on Sunday evening.
While the identities of the two deceased people have not yet been identified, Reiner is 78, while his wife, Michele Singer, is 68, matching the ages of the deceased people.
A neighbor source told ABC7 that Larry David and Billy Crystal — who starred in Reiner's rom-com classic When Harry Met Sally — visited the crime scene separately, and Crystal allegedly left in tears.
Reiner and his wife reportedly live in the home, and property records indicate that they are the owners, according to NBCLA.

TMZ just confirmed that it is Rob Reiner and his wife. They apparently died from being stabbed to death.

I imagine this is a pretty rare crime for such a nice area. I wonder if they befriended someone and the person got mad that they weren’t helping him as much as he wanted them to?

The best scene ever with Archie was he and Jefferson at a wedding reception. Archie the white racist and Jefferson the black racist. Jefferson’s son was marrying a white girl. Archie hated that and Jefferson hated it and they both proceeded to get drunk together. The closing scene was Archie and Jefferson arms wrapped around each others shoulder with Archie asking “what is this world coming to?” Jefferson replied, “ I don’t know Arch.”
It was their kid.
That was a great scene.
My personal favorite, was Lionel Jefferson confronting Meathead, about how all Meathead wanted to talk about with him was racial issues.
“Why don’t we ever talk about the weather? Black people have weather too!”
Of course, conservatives will treat this with more dignity than the other side does for Charlie and his widow.
