More proof of the brain development research being on the right track.

“The human brain continues developing into the mid-to-late 20s, with significant maturation of the prefrontal cortex (decision-making area) often cited around age 25, though some research points to processes continuing into the early 30s, with some studies even suggesting full network reorganization by age 32.”

“While physical size is nearly adult by age 6, fine-tuning of neural connections, especially for impulse control and emotional regulation, happens throughout adolescence and young adulthood, making the brain highly adaptable but vulnerable during these years.”

I should add this, reluctantly——

Someone said males remain emotionally at age 9 for a long time as they try to attain emotional maturity and some males don’t achieve it by old age.
