Why do men not shave any more? Not that long ago, it was considered slovenly and rude to appear in public without a clean shave. What happened?
I don’t get it either. Especially the blotchy beard look.
And before that, everyone had side whiskers and beards and the most marvelous mustaches. Facial hair is fashion. I love the variety of faces. Isn’t it more the bearing of the wearer and the way the facial hair is maintained that makes a man’s appearance dignified or slovenly?
It’s not just Prince William being unshaven. He doesn’t look well overall. Something’s going on there.
Good question. I’ve been wondering WHY myself. I’ve actually stopped watching some of my favorites on news shows because I can’t stand the beards they’re growing. Once someone starts it, every male falls into line and stops shaving.
