Coffee PING
interesting.
I drink organic instant coffee. Have two bottles, one decaf. Heat water in large cup in microwave, then ad about 1/4 teaspoon of each kind, as instant is very concentrated.
Add a little Sweet Leaf stevia, supposedly the healthiest sweetner, and a little milk. Healthy grassfed milk too. Sit on couch and drink it with cat on mu lap while we listen to news on the radio. Daisy doesn’tdrink coffee, and is definitely a Republicat.
.
Im not giving up my pods or the organic cream and a touch of brown sugar I put in my two morning cups of coffee. God they try to suck the joy out of everything. š
I still drink my coffee black, 2 or 3 cups each morning as I have for over 50 years. I buy cans of McDonalds McCafe Breakfast Blend ground coffee and brew it in my Bunn coffee maker. Excellent coffee.
Coffee is another one of those food products where every day there is a new study that contradicts other previous studies. One study concludes that coffee is bad for your health, yet another study has the opposite conclusion. We have been told for years that we should avoid saturated fats and switch to āhealthyā oils like canola oil. Now the latest studies conclude these seed oils are bad for your heath. Butter was condemned as artery clogging and we should switch to unsaturated oil based margarines, now butter is considered a better alternative than margarine.
Our grandparents and great grandparents ate butter, eggs bacon and fatty meats, slathered their toast with homemade jam and drank prodigious amounts of coffee for breakfast most every morning yet, at least in my family, lived to ripe old age. Iāll just enjoy my morning cup of French press coffee and take my chances.
This week, every kind of coffee is bad for you...
Good article. Thx for posting it.
Living will kill you.
š TRUE. Enjoy life while you can.
AI generated, probably generated by the tea growers of the world. Somewhat illuminating, but seems a bit of one sided paranoia. I mean , if all those pesticides and mycotoxins are found in coffee , what about all the other things we eat or drink....?
For the past two years Iāve been enjoying Peetās French Roast whole bean coffee shipped directly from the roaster. They run good specials of 25% off and free shipping quite often enough that I can buy 3 lbs. and that gets me through to the next special.
I grind half a pound at a time in a Nutribullet Pro blender and keep it in a stainless steel airtight canister.
It is so awesome.
I like their coffee. I’ve been trying different ones, but next order will be Pete’s.
I have a Black and Decker coffee maker that grinds and brews so the beans are not ground till each morning.
IIRC Black Rifle stepped in it when they denounced Kyle Rittenhouse and the J6’rs.
Go to The Roasterie for good air roasted coffee shipped direct. Air roasting is wonderful. You can order anything they have unground. Try the American Restaurant blend.
I picked up two cans of it at Ollie’s Discount. Fortunately, I never detected any hint of politics in either can!
Gotta hold your ear to the can.
We drink Folgers Black Silk. But I only drink less than 1/2 cup a day, sometimes none for several days. My husband usually drinks 1 cup a day. When my son makes coffee, he makes it twice as strong as usual. We use an electric drip coffee maker, but I’m thinking of using a percolator. Anyone have any ideas as to which is better?
