Michigan likely was handcuffed by their worship of DEI, or else they would have canned this diversity hire months earlier when the rumors about his behavior were circulating. Now they have cratered the football program for years, likely. Of course, academia still will not learn the lesson on how DEI cripples and kills, literally and figuratively.

The U of Michigan sports bosses are probably sighing with relief they have an excuse that doesn’t make them look bad.
Local Michigan news says they believe the university is now off the hook for the money payout to the fired coach’s huge contract clause.
