I’m the happy owner of 10 cats. Yes, I agree on that last line, but I choose to see the humor in it. People always have comments on cat owners. ;-)
It’s hard to explain to people that don’t have experience with both - dogs are “top-down management” and cats are “lower-to-upper relationship”.
Dogs bond and exist for the person that chooses them.
Cats tolerate until they choose their person - get over it, you’re now the chosen one.
