The Concorde flew from 1976 to 2003.

The Concorde was never economically viable due to fuel costs. It was heavily subsidized.

The Concorde was limited to transatlantic routes due to its sonic boom causing problems on the ground.

The Concorde was not removed from service because one crashed. The crash was just the excuse to do what everybody knew should be done but were too "proud" to do.
