I wonder what her internal polling looks like. I can’t imagine a lot of Texas honkeys and Latinos are impressed with the rap crap. Upsides of her candidacy: Democrat money will be wasted; after she loses the Dem primary to some old white guy, her supporters can stay home and sulk.
Crockett is almost certain to lose, but her campaign will be polarizing and is likely to make her a national political figure in Democratic politics with a role in the 2028 election. For Democrats and their Leftist base and media allies, agitation and mobilization are central and enduring concerns. Above all, even in losing, Crockett will be used for those purposes.
