Love the Beatles. Love them or hate them. They knew how to compose a song. Especially McCartney.


I tend to dismiss McCartney’s solo career, but I came across this song the other day, that I consider up there with anything he did with The Beatles. Fantastic melody.

That’s my least favorite song from Chaos and Creation. All the minor chords… just don’t like it. The opener, “Fine Line”, is more my speed.

Now three years later, Paul (with a producer named Youth) would release the third Fireman album titled “Electric Arguments.” It’s a masterpiece, but boy it’s definitely not for everyone. Zero pop appeal. Ninety-nine percent of people can’t get past the first song, though. It makes Helter Skelter sound like a sweet love song. Haha!
