Song generation is one of my favorite uses of AI. I bought a year of https://suno.com/ for around $4 a month on a black Friday special. It is back to the normal price now. I haven’t bothered to make many videos out of my “creations”. But I do appreciate being able to easily make music of pretty much all genres for to add to drone video, etc... without paying for royalty free songs or getting my videos on YouTube flagged for copyright violations.
The quality has gotten pretty amazing!
An AI song has already risen to the top of the country music charts.
Movies are next in about a couple of years time.
The interesting thing is that you professional musicians can use AI to edit actual demo tracks into something useable as well as just having fun. You can also remove the primary voice track and use the tune as a karaoke style accompaniment.
I have been using Band in a Box for many years and spent a lot of money on this to generate songs and accompaniment, but this has now morphed to a completely different level. And the capabilities come at much less expense. My guess is that https://www.pgmusic.com/bbwin.packages.htm will have to lower their prices to compete.
Sorry I had a typo, I didn’t mean to imply that you were a professional musician.
Someone should create a documentary with AI images about her father who was deeply involved in genocidal attacks on a dissent clan that murdered tens of thousands of Somali people:
Between 1981 and 1991, the Somali military in which Colonel Nur Omar Mohamed, Ilhan Omar’s father, served as a senior officer executed a brutal and systematic campaign of genocide targeting the Isaaq people of the modern day Republic of Somaliland.
This dark chapter in Africa’s history, which was known as the Isaaq Genocide, was a merciless military campaign that resulted in the killing of over 200,000 Isaaq civilians. It also involved widespread forced displacement, scorched‑earth destruction of the second and third largest cities (Hargeisa and Burao), aerial bombardement of almost every other single city, town and village in Somaliland, and two decades of large‑scale red-terror style tactics against the civilian population of Somaliland.”
