Dumbarton Bridge, near Hayward

Jiminy Christmas!

The Dumbarton Bridge goes over the South Bay, from East Palo Alto to the Fremont / Union City Area.

The San Mateo Bridge goes from San Mateo to Hayward.

This is from KTVU, the same news readers that will be forever remembered in the Annals Of News Readers for:

The San Mateo Bridge goes from San Mateo to Hayward.

In fact, the name of that bridge is the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge. Those dumb-a$$es.

I once called up the KTVU newsroom (and actually talked directly to the "famous" Sal Castenado) and told them to stop referring to the highway between Los Gatos and Santa Cruz as I-880. It's Highway 17. He said "No, you're wrong, it's I-880." Clueless.
