I am retired ATC. NorCal Tracon(NCT) Area B(Basically the arrivals for SFO)

I was one of the rare Conservatives as most were Dems because of the affiliation of the Union(NATCA) and Dem Politicians and scratching each others backs. Do the math on that.

I did not know about the postings from ATC on Reddit and even though it is disturbing, it does not surprise me at all.

Matt only talks about the Reddit postings but I know much much more.

Has anyone actually authenticated that the reddit postings are from actual ATCs?

As Pope, I don’t normally concern myself with such secular issues, but thought this was important.

Thanks yet must we be now reduced to recourse to social media via videos for information? “Reputable” hardly applies. At least one should be able to read an article of it.

In five minutes -- no, make that six minutes, they're notoriously slow -- Congress should be able to pass a simple law which decrees that federal employees involved in urgent, life-saving positions (including air traffic controllers, and certainly members of the military) will heretofore be exempted from loss of work and withholding of pay during a government shutdown.
