I know this is stating a 5 pm start but is that eastern time which is usually how they list things?

Does the Big 12 championship really start at 9 am?

This sounds like start times are listed for pacific time.

If you have an ESPN web account, the game times on the ESPN site adjust for your current time zone. I have a web account with ESPN so that it knows what my favorite teams and my time zone is. So it's telling me that the SEC championship game is at 3PM central and the Big 10 is at 7PM central (it doesn't say "central", but I know).
