For the umpteenth time, no, he did NOT vote to increase taxes. He has consistently voted for tax cuts, over and over.
The BBB increased spending significantly. That’s why Massie voted against it. Are you in favor of increasing Federal spending even more?

The high scores from RLC, Heritage Action, NTU, etc., measure alignment with libertarian / limited-government / free-market principles. They don’t necessarily measure how often he votes with party leadership.
According to his official vote record, as of late 2025, he opposed (voted “Nay”) several bills including certain appropriations and pieces of the 2026 continuing budget/oversight bills.
When big bills come up (e.g., omnibus spending, big tax/spending packages), he sometimes breaks with the party because he views them as too large, too deficit-driving, or too intrusive.
