Self destructive? I traveled the world because I didn’t have children. I had a freer life. Financially, I am better off. And I never had to worry about raising a child with disabilities or mental issue.After seeing what some families went through as a nurse with their kids, I am better off. If your kids turned out to be good adults, thats great for you. But that is not always the case when you introduce somebody new into your household, because you can get a horrible life if they turn out bad. It is a crapshoot that I never wanted to participate in, especially after growing up with a disabled sibling and seeing what parents of disabled or sociopathic children live through. Let me tell you, if your kid is a danger to you, as a sociopath or ODD, you are stuck. There are no resources. If your child has a medical disability , you are facing financial ruin because of medical bills.. Or divorce ( saw that a lot). Nope, not for me. If you want to take that risk, great, your choice. Not mine.

First off, tubal ligation has nothing to do with genitalia.Its an abdominal procedure. No one is doing barbaric Middle East procedures here in the USA on vaginas. It’s no different than a knee arthroscopy when both procedures use a scope. Your opinion is so into the minority it’s laughable. You sound like an idiot. 500,000 men a year have a vasectomy. It’s a common procedure, not mutilation anymore than taking out a torn meniscus through a scope. When you diss on people who have had a tubal then I am going to say you are an idiot. Some of us don’t want kids, and thats our right. You spawn them.
And when you work in an ER, and see a mother screaming that her child wants to kill her, and please admit my child. Then the ER doctor says there are no facilities to take said child, mom needs to take child home. When mom screams in anguish, your thought process changes about the risk of children. No crapshoot for me.

The scope goes into the lower abdomen, and the fallopian tubes are cut and tied, dummy. It’s also done right after a c section, which a lot of mothers elect to do after childbirth. It’s not anywhere near the genitalia. Maybe you are thinking of FGM, which the external genitalia is cut. That is genital mutilation. Get your facts straight.
I think you have a strange idea of what tubal ligation is, but okay.
