Unfortunately, US leads the developed world in maternal death. 🫤 Some of it has to do with pre-existing health issues like weight-related heart disease, diabetes — but the other part is general birthing culture has become very rushed and depersonalized…as well as postpartum and parental leave still being inflexible.
The term “maternal death” was invented by the communistic WHO.
