If only they had enacted some ‘common sense gun laws’ in that county. It’s for the children, you know.
Another “isolated incident”
Remember, in 1988, California politicians wrote a really bad gun law so bad it was shelved.
Then they released Pat Purdy from a mental institution(for the 7th time), allowed him to buy a rifle and handgun in violation of State and Federal laws, even passing the waiting period.
He then, in 1989, went and shot up the Stockton School yard killing several students and himself.
The shelved bill was pulled out and passed before opposition could be mounted against it.
Don’t be surprised if the legislature is trying the same again.
