What is really needed is mandatory e-verify and biometric data. End the employment of many illegals fast. Of course, citizens would have to get on board with submitting biometric data as well, or it couldn’t be a mandatory requirement. Not sure people want to do that.

if all the illegals being deported. or self deporting would take someone with them, non Citizen or Citizen who dislikes This Country, we’d make progress twice as fast.

It's not just the left. We've been sold the "We're just getting rid of the criminals" line since Trump took office. Of course, ALL illegals are criminals, but that's the nature of word games. And we're definitely being gamed.
To me, it seems a lot more "globalist" to not be able to keep illegals out of American jobs. Maybe your business hires cheap illegal labor and you want to keep that going.
At a minimum, make eVerify mandatory. No biometric data will still make it subject to abuse, but it would be an improvement.
The problem now is that manual submission and cross-check OMG of social security numbers just takes way too long, and you keep working due ng that entire period unless/until the SSN is determined to be bogus.
