Did God give you a miracle?

Although, I will not give particulars to protect myself, God performed a miracle for me last night.

I was traveling from my work camp to a gas compression station, which compresses LNG to allow it to flow through the pipes easier.

The road I was traveling on was good, except for after the T-intersection, then it turned very ice with hard packed ice with grooves in the road that could catch your tire. I slowed down to about 50km/hr, trying to be safe. However, the road still caught my tire and I spun out of control.

I had no control over the truck and was spinning out of control, while heading towards the ditch and no ability to stop and there was nothing to stop the truck from going into the ditch.

However, the truck stopped dead at the edge of the road with no discernible reason why it should have stopped.

I should mention that I was listening to a podcast while traveling and, just before the incident, my phone kept turning on my online radio, where they are playing Christmas tunes 24/7 and I couldn't shut it off no matter what I did, which forced me to turn off my cell phone completely, which I can see being deliberate to cause me to pay more attention to the upcoming hazard.

I am just extremely thankful right now.

You reminded me of two similar events in which I was driving. The first was to a critical appointment. I hit a black ice patch on a turn at 60 MPH at 7:30 AM on a standard two-lane county road. The car immediately turned 360 degrees. I pulled my foot off the accelerator as it started. The car stopped the turn exactly at the point needed to continue forward on the road. I was in the proper lane, still, and it was as though nothing had actually happened. I made the appointment.

The second was going to a concert. My wife was with me. The car started hydroplaning right toward the concrete barrier immediately to my left on the four lane interstate highway in this larger 90 degree turn in which the rain had run down all the other lanes’ worth of water into my lane at that moment. I was going 70+ MPH. My hands and eyes knew I had to turn toward this barrier, less than six feet away, to get traction. I caught grip and immediately turned rapidly to the right and shot across the other three lanes, and I righted the car to stop off the road. No cars were currently in those lanes—only behind me. They passed us on the left, after I parked.

Neither time was there anyone or anything damaged or hurt.

Those two occasions were examples of God protecting me.

I am glad you had an opportunity to know God's involvement, as well.

God is wonderful and I need to glorify Him so much more than I do.

That interest will be pervasive in heaven, I believe. All of us will want to hear the specifics of how God has blessed us, because we'll be fadcinated. Moreover, He will reveal to each of us the innumerable ways He has intervened for good in our lives of which we are unaware--and so we'll have much more to share.

Imagine learning of the intimate backstories of billions and billions of saints.

If you've read Pilgrim's Progress, you've had a taste of that. For what else is it than a thorough recounting of Christian's journey through this life as God superintended it?

God does things that people are often never able to see or interventions where something was removed from our path or from our steps or by the direction we turned. This is the meaning in the Lords Prayer to deliver us from Evil. Also to deliver us from the workings of the Evil one.

I walked through an intersection after the light had changed, giving me the right of way. The roads were wet from rain. After I had crossed one lane, a car came barreling through in the lane I had just crossed, running the light, very close behind me. Had the timing been any different, I could easily have been run over. I am grateful to God that I made it through.

Traveling at 60 mph, the frame of my car snapped in two. My car veered into the oncoming traffic right before I got hit, it suddenly swerved to the right and slowly went to the side of the road and stopped.

I think, this is my opinion, God rides our shoulders every day. You look for big blessings and miss the small ones. Remember this is my thoughts. A crisp morning with an old battery. The car starts and you get it replaced. Is that a blessing? Think folks. Your daughter calling you, your grandson text you, your turkey didn’t burn up, your dog didn’t wreck the trash while you went for a walk. Please say a prayer for our Troops. And. Wake up to Gods blessings. If you read this you are blessed. It ain’t me it’s God. Be aware and Thankful. IMO

He gave me my wonderful husband for 55 years…he passed away in August this year… great loss for me, my daughter and the grand kids. Still trying to deal with this loss.
