“In Canada they’ve become so common that they are now one of the leading causes of death.”
When you post false data you are leading a fool astray.
While final, official 2024 data is not yet available from Health Canada, an early estimate suggests approximately 16,500 medically assisted deaths (MAiD) occurred in Canada during 2024. This is an increase from the official 2023 report, which recorded 15,343 MAiD deaths.
2023 Data: The final official figure for 2023 was 15,343, representing 4.7% of all deaths in Canada.
2024 Estimate: An estimate from the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition suggests the 2024 total could be around 16,500, which would be approximately 5% of all deaths. Regional Data: In British Columbia, a provincial report indicated about 3,000 MAiD deaths in 2024, accounting for 6.7% of all deaths in that province.
Official Reports: Canada's Ministry of Health releases an official annual report on MAiD. The latest report covers 2023 data, and official figures for 2024 are expected to be released in late 2025
Hmm... Sounds like a lot to me... And they increase yearly... What's up with that?
BTW - As a comparison... About 1,800 people die per year in Canada from car accident deaths... America loses over 40,000 per year due to car accidents.
