A recent study conducted at UC Berkeley found that methane leaks from oil production and distribution are negligible, outweighed by orders of magnitude from natural leakage along the state’s ubiquitous earthquake faults.

I love articles like this because it demonstrates how stupid and ignorant of history these fools really are. I grew up in Manhattan Beach in the 60's BEFORE those off shore rigs were put in. There was not a beach in SoCal that you could walk on without getting TAR all over yourself, the land and houses were virtually worthless because of it. Now these idiots want to to back to making the Beaches in SoCal UNUSEABLE from the massive seepage of tar that myusteriously Vanished a few years after the Oil Pumping began.

California thinks oils is evil, so they should be honest about it and ban the sale or use in the state of ALL petroleum products and any product containing petroleum derived, substances, and any product that relies on petroleum products in its production chain.

Yes, this would include everything, but its what they say they want.
