Matter of perspective. What I meant was that, with the ones we made for Yucca Mountain, they'd be way the hell down there and the mud would provide the containment BEFORE the containers could leak into the biosphere, with which I think you'd concur.

The Russians have been dumping theirs in trenches for decades. We have better containers. I don't see a problem with the plan. It's learning to live with and use the planet's physical processes in a responsible manner, something I'm big on.
