This article is wish-casting by liberals who are desperate to believe that their side is finally able to fight back and defeat Trump after 10 months of getting their a__es kicked every day. The shutdown did not change the momentum. The three off year elections were disappointing but were in blue states and not any indication of a wave. There have been some self-inflicted problems on the Trump / GOP side but so what? There always are. Come back in 6 months and we can talk about whether the momentum is gone.
