In Vietnam it was called fragging... I would imagine the oercentages go up within conscripted forces.
Fragging and friendly fire are two different things.
Though I am sure both are happening on both sides, a report from Tass with no real specifics means little
“Friendly fire” is different from fragging. Fragging is the deliberate assassination of superiors, usually immediate superiors.
“Friendly fire” is deadly force directed at your own troops by mistake. It is more common than most think. Estimates for the percent of casualties from friendly fire in WWII range from 2-10 percent.
