They’re gobbling down these slices.
Pino’s Pizza of Deer Park has something savory to be thankful for this Turkey Day — their viral Thanksgiving pizza pie, which is served with sliced roasted turkey breast, gravy, sausage and apple cornbread stuffing and topped off with cranberry sauce.
Customers trot from far and wide to get their hands on the $34.99 pie — and this month alone, they’ve already sold 300 and counting.
“People from Toms River, New Jersey came in to buy it,” owner Joseph Barbieri, aka Pino, told The Post.
“The biggest request I get is, ‘Can you ship it?’ But I haven’t figured out that one yet.”
The TDay pizza craze began last November, when Barbieri posted a video of him crafting the unconventional pie — spreading gravy on mozzarella-topped dough, then sprinkling the sausage and turkey and completing the creation by drizzling cranberry sauce over it.
In just two days, the clip had 5 million views on Instagram and over 3 million on TikTok.
“It just went insane. We probably sold over 500 pies,” he said.
A native of Calabria, Italy, Barbieri first came up with the idea when he thought outside the [pizza] box after making too many turkeys at one of the three locations of his Italian market, Salpino.
“Prior to Thanksgiving, I got a phone call from my son, and he said, ‘Dad, I think we screwed up, we oversold six meals and we don’t have the turkeys.’ So I made a couple of phone calls and was able to get 10 turkeys from our meat suppliers,” he recalled.

The Gobbler.
LOOKS DELICIOUS
I would love to try this pie, but the pizzeria is too far from me.
DISGUSTING!!!
Where I come from, makin’ that pie would be a hangin’ offense!
Looks delicious, except for the cranberry sauce.
But that cranberry sauce helped them get viral free advertising.
I wouldn’t care for it. What makes it an atrocity is the cranberry sauce. Sweet and savory don’t go together on pizza. The diseased mindset to the contrary is what gave us pineapple on pizza
Drive a long way? You gotta smell it the whole way back.
Best served on the side, cold, IMHO.
I would not call that pizza. Maybe tastes good, but pizza? Nope.
tecnicamente sarebbe una torta di carne
Looks good, I have a wood fired pizza oven in the outside kitchen I see where some of the left overs are going to be fired up on a imported OO Napoletana Tipo 48 hour proofed crust. And yeah cranberry whole not jelly we are not savages on the side should someone want to dip in.
Yes, it needs cheese...
When I lived in Deer Park many moons ago I called it little Brooklyn. There was a pizza joint every fifteen feet. Any Italian bread or specialty you could get in Brooklyn you could get in Deer Park. As late as four years ago driving along 231 I saw yet another new pizza joint grand opening. As expected it was amazing. Ya have to be therabouts to survive.
Put pineapple on and watch people go ballistic.
Sorry, what they did to that makes it no longer a pizza.
Needs mashed potatoes. Looks good to me I don’t care what you call it
“I don’t want it around schools, I don’t want it sold to children. But putting cranberries on pizza? That’s an infamia.”
There is a small grocery store/sandwich shop in Makawao (Maui) that makes turkey dinner sandwich’s every day. Turkey, gravy, stuffing, and sliced cranberry (from the can).
You’d better be there before 11am or “your not getting one bradda”!
