When the “proof” of space aliens is revealed, that will signal AI and CGI are perfected enough, and the population gullible enough to start the final erosion of our liberties. But a city or two being threatened or wiped out by space aliens that’s a immediate existential threat and common enemy the world can unify around and rally against.

As a side note: we are now up to two trillion galaxies, and I believe that God could list ‘Creator’ as his occupation and he may have even very likely filled up the entire universe with unique lifeforms, and all ‘after their kind’ however WE are all created in HIS image making us unique everywhere. Even those bizarre beings seen around the Throne in Revelation and as shown in Isaiah and Ezekiel are not from this Earth.
