This is much worse that portrayed. In her ignorance, she chose to adopt the Epstein reference and attempt to exonerate herself by saying she only referred to “a Jeffrey Epstein” not “the Jeffrey Epstein” and knew that it was not one and the same. Thereby admitting that she attempted to defraud the public and her colleagues would would not know that difference.
Very dark.
That loudmouth ho should be censured by Congress. But as a member of a protected class she won’t be.
Staff might have dangled the Epstein connection with attached warnings that corroboration was needed, but she took the bait and ran with it (as we all know, she's very impulsive).
When she screams at them, they can say, "Well, we warned you we needed to check it carefully, but you decided to run with it as is."
