Same point of failure as AA’s Chicago crash After initially blaming that crash on "pilot error", the final report said:
O'hare crash:
"use of a fork lift by maintenance workers had damaged the engine mount, or pylon,"

So many questions to ask. Were there stress fractures on the other pylon attachment? After national inspection, how many more DC 10 and DC 11 aircraft have these fractures? Maybe this is the last time any DC 10 or DC 11s fly.
