The service is being held Thursday at the National Cathedral.
WASHINGTON -- Former Vice President Dick Cheney's funeral will be held in Washington on Thursday, with several high-profile political figures set to be at the service for the man considered one of the most influential vice presidents in U.S. history.
Former President Joe Biden plans to attend, a spokesperson confirmed to ABC News.
The funeral will be held at Washington National Cathedral at 11 a.m. ET.
Former President George W. Bush, who Cheney served for two terms, will offer a tribute at the service. According to the cathedral's program, Cheney's daughter, former congresswoman Liz Cheney, and his grandchildren will also give remarks.

Dick Cheney was a war monger who had been the ultimate draft dodger during the VN War, a real chicken hawk who kept out of service (once self-quoted as “not for him”) due to six college, marriage and newborn deferments. I shed no tears.
This will be a showcase of what used to be the governing structure of the Republican Party and the old-school Dem foreign policy establishment. Hopefully they will not get back into power. They caused a lot of destruction over the past 30 years.

My thoughts as well. "Why did it take to long so bury him?" was my second thought.
They had to "urge" people to attend a funeral was my answer to myself.
Will it be broadcast live on all the legacy networks?
Will they turn into another “Wellstone Memorial”?
It just hit me why flags have been flying half-staff lately.
